Vermiculite Super Fine Grade (0-2MM)
Vermiculite is a naturally produced mineral, heated to high temperatures to produce flake like parts that are completely non-toxic. Our vermiculite is also RHP Certified so we can assure everyone that it is high quality, clean and safe. Vermiculite is commonly used as a seed covering material, especially if the seeds require light to germinate. Instead of using sieved compost to cover the seeds use a light covering of vermiculite. Great seed germination results have been achieved using this method of covering seeds. As well as allowing more light in to the soil, vermiculite helps retain air and moisture.
